ADDIE Analysis Phase
What Is The ADDIE Analysis Phase?
Analysis Phase among one of its main tasks, is to identify needs or performance gaps.
ADDIE Analysis Phase - Instructional Design
The Analysis phase is used to identify key points that will assist in developing successful e-Learning. Some of those basic Key Points are:
Key Point - Needs Assessment, identify performance issues for tasks to teach.
Key Point - Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), can confirm content is complete and accurate.
Key Point - Learning Audience, match content to learning audience, are they novice or experienced?
Key Point - Delivery Method, decide best course delivery method, online, instructor led or blended.
Key Point - Learning Objectives, accurate defined learning objectives equals on target course.
Key Point - Project Scope, milestone review can reveal unexpected project scope creep issues.
The ADDIE Analysis Phase is crucial in establishing the direction from the beginning and will have far reaching consequences to the end of the course.
ADDIE Model Outline
The Instructional Design ADDIE Model is a rather complex course development process. The instructional development process will involve several disciplines that can help to produce sound training development for better e-learning instructional design courses.
The ADDIE Model presents a comprehensive collections of the most important training design key points that are pivotal in the creation of all training courses regardless of the course delivery, regardless if the training is instructor led, online e-learning or blended.
What is instructional design? We can now start to expand upon the initial definition: Instructional Design is a process of gathering information. The first step in this ADDIE Model process is called the Analysis Phase.
